Maria Chenoweth-Casey FRSA, Chief Executive

A born business woman with a refreshing habit for straight talking, Maria made a conscious decision to alter her career path after a long spell of management in the commercial sector and moved into the charity sector.  Here, she has carved a niche working towards removing the staid image of charity and charity retail. After a seven year stint at Oxfam, working on niche concept shops and within their retail operations, Maria joined TRAID in 1999 becoming TRAID’s Chief Executive in 2003. Under Maria's entrepreneurial and driven leadership, TRAID is now the leading environmental fashion recycling charity in the UK raising ever increasing funds for remarkable international development projects.
